Sauce BBQ

Co-owner of the farm known as Ferme Manicouagan, Julie Bérubé explains that the idea of producing sauce at a large scale came after Jean-Philippe Ouellet, chef and owner of the Riviera, won first place at a BBQ contest at the Sept-Îles Festi-GrÎles in the summer of 2021 with this product he made.

“The sour side of the Hidden Berry enhances the other flavours. Its impact is significant,” notes Mrs. Bérubé, who believes the Competition sauce will be appreciated. She adds: “There’s no reason why you can’t pimp your turkey for Christmas.”

Other products: “competition” glaze for basting meat, haskap bourbon BBQ sauce, haskap jam, bell pepper jelly , haskap and Labrador tea jelly, onion confit with haskap.
