What I like about my work is the variety of tasks I am entrusted with and the flexibility I benefit from day to day.

I like my job because I’m involved in lots of things. I do customer service, management, a bit of creativity, and I like the projects I achieve. Also, with my physical disability, I felt welcomed by my colleagues and didn’t feel judged. I have other assets to bring to the team, like my sharp mind, cheerfulness, organizational skills, and ideas.

I consider it a great honour and a unique opportunity for me to have been able to take the helm of our fine institution, which I think of a bit like my second home! Indeed, it’s within our organization that my childhood love of archaeology turned into an exciting career. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by engaged administrators and team members. We all have this common appetite for history, culture and the rich heritage of the Côte-Nord. I would like every visitor, from here and elsewhere, to leave with a mind full of wide open spaces and stories of connection between peoples. I would like them to be able to discover how the Côte-Nord is way more than a land full of natural resources.
