Sept-Îles, March 3, 2025 – The Musée de la Côte-Nord’s board of directors is proud to announce the appointment of Melissa Lacroix as the institution’s new managing director. Passionate about archaeology and history, Ms. Lacroix has almost ten years’ experience at the Musée, where she has held a number of key positions, actively contributing to promoting the Côte-Nord’s heritage.

The year 2023 surprised us with the diversity of species encountered in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. This lecture by Mr. Gélineau will focus on the results of his observations of marine wildlife on the North Shore, specifically between Rivière-Pentecôte and Havre-Saint-Pierre. This lecture will also include a discussion on the changes caused by human society on the ecosystems of the St. Lawrence.
