Sept-Îles, February 2, 2025 –
On February 2nd, 2025, the first Sunday of the month, many of you joined us in celebrating the official opening of the permanent exhibition Côte-Nord – Stretches of Time.
Over 120 people were attending the introductory tours given by Steve Dubreuil, trying out the exhibition’s new gadgets, and playing the Wheel of Discovery.
Visitors (re)discovered the big floor map, this time through the smart lens of the Discovery Detector.
In the 2nd room, where you can climb up into a tree like a squirrel, they could also learn more about the natural resources, fauna and flora of our wonderful region using the interactive modules in the central island.
At least four families walked away with their first Storeroom Treasure–a 3D printed miniature of the black bear preserved at the Musée since 1981.
