It was during the pandemic that French-born Claire Benoît took over the operations of the agri-food production company known as Trésors des Bois. The company was founded in 2007 by Mr. Xavier Morinier, who passed the torch to Benoit in 2021. Since then, she has remained the company’s sole employee and manages the entire business. All products sold by Trésors des Bois are made from ingredients harvested on the Côte-Nord. The owner picks most of them in the Clarke City region, but also contracts with independent pickers.
