Having a circular economy in the cultural sector is indeed possible! The deconstruction of our previous permanent exhibition was guided by the 4R’s principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover). Compared to a traditional demolition, our deconstruction and repurposing process had a carbon footprint equivalent to 1 trip from Montreal to Sept-Îles, rather than 3*!
