Raised in the Mist offers an immersive audiovisual experience in Tête-à-la-Baleine, Basse-Côte-Nord, a unique and irresistibly fascinating place, and chronicles the ups and downs of an occupation that affirms our special relationship with the St. Lawrence River–fishing.
About Alain James Rioux Dubé
Alain James Rioux Dubé, from Montreal, is a multimedia artist who has studied journalism, anthropology and sociology. His passion for documenting local traditions inspired him to create Raised in the Mist, an exhibit that came out of a collaboration between him and CJTB, Tête-à-la-Baleine’s community radio station. It is the artist’s first exhibit.
Sept-Îles, May 16, 2024 – To celebrate the first Sunday in June, the Musée offers a whole new exhibition opening experience. The artist, Alain James Rioux Dubé, has generously given us his time to come tell the story of his exhibit for the whole afternoon on Sunday, June 2, between 1 PM and 5 PM.
